Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SinceFeed, operated by SinceFeed ("SinceFeed," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use SinceFeed.

1. The service

SinceFeed monitors selected public sources and presents short, source-linked updates about topics you follow, organized around what has happened since you last checked. You can follow shared topics and starter packs, create private custom topics, and save updates.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required where you live) to use SinceFeed.
  • You are responsible for your account credentials and all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at legal@sincefeed.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
  • Provide accurate information and keep your email address current so you can receive account messages.

3. Coverage, accuracy, and AI limitations

  • SinceFeed covers only the sources it has selected and can access. It does not monitor the entire internet and does not guarantee that every development on a topic will be found.
  • Source discovery, extraction, classification, and summaries are assisted by automated systems, including AI models. Summaries can be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. Always consult the linked original source before relying on information.
  • Labels such as "Confirmed" and "Reported" describe the type of source behind an update; they are not guarantees of truth.
  • SinceFeed is for general information only and is not legal, financial, investment, medical, or other professional advice.

4. Custom topics and your input

You may describe custom topics, submit feedback, and report issues. You keep any rights you have in what you submit, and you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use it to operate, maintain, and improve the service. Custom topics are private to you, but we may use similar topics to improve coverage, and we may offer a topic in our shared catalog without identifying you.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use SinceFeed for unlawful purposes or to harass, track, or surveil private individuals;
  • scrape, bulk-download, resell, or redistribute the service or its content;
  • interfere with, overload, probe, or bypass security or usage limits of the service;
  • create accounts by automated means or to evade restrictions;
  • submit content that infringes others' rights or contains malicious code.

6. Third-party content

Updates link to and briefly quote third-party publications for reference and attribution. Those sources belong to their owners, and we are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. If you believe material on SinceFeed infringes your rights, contact legal@sincefeed.com.

7. Our property

SinceFeed, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by us and protected by law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes under these Terms.

8. Paid plans

SinceFeed may offer paid features in the future. Pricing, billing, renewal, and cancellation terms will be shown before you buy and will form part of these Terms.

9. Suspension and termination

You may stop using SinceFeed and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or end access if you violate these Terms or if needed to protect the service or others. We may change or discontinue features at any time.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, TIMELINESS, AVAILABILITY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SINCEFEED WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSSES ARISING FROM RELIANCE ON CONTENT IN THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR US $50.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. If changes are material, we will give reasonable notice, such as by email or in the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
